Message Garrett produces a series of turbos they refer to as "Garrett TB 028"'s.

This is where the 28 in '2835' and the 28 in 'T28' comes from.

The specs on this turbo are a T3 compressor, ranging from 40 to 65 trim, if I recall correctly - it is mated to a T25 turbine wheel in 68 to 79 trim, these 10 bladed wheels being referred to as "T28" turbine's. The housing I have on my particular set of TB028's is the T04B housing found on the HKS 2530 - This is probably the same or similiar sized to the one found on the sport 650. The flow capacity on the TB028 is 35lb/min, which rates it at 325bhp per turbo, making it engineering-identical to a sport 650. It's very likely this is the turbo JWT sells as the JWT sport 650. FYI - I've posted this info before, but the TB 028 has a .60 a/r compressor housing, .64 a/r exhaust housing. My personal ones appear to have the 62 trim compressors, 1.86/2.37, 79 trim turbines, 1.86/2.09.

It's important to note a few things - As someone else here pointed out - Garrett rates their turbos at 1 bar. JWT uses garrett equipment, and uses their ratings. This is one of the reasons garrett and jwt turbos typically seem to be capable more than their rating. (Who would install 650's and only run 14 lbs of boost :) ) (A pair of 2835's are rated at 400 bhp each but I've heard of them put nearly this to the ground, all turbo)

The T25 turbine found in the 't28', '2835', and I believe it to be the same flavor in the 650 - is somewhat generic and I don't believe it to require a lot of housing. In fact, my current plans are to use a ported and extrude honed stock turbine housing in my setup.

Hope this is at least somewhat informative. :)
